Filling IMM5710 help

Hi

I have question on following section of IMM5710.

• 
  Section : "If applicable, provide the document number of the most recent Visitor Record, Study Permit, or Work Permit issued to you."
  
  Question :Where can i find document number in work permit ? is it the one in red color or the one one below written in black text?
  
• 
  Section :Details of intent to work in canada
  
  Question :The document asked for employer informtion. Do we need a job before filing for post graduation work permit? I dont have any job offer yet but eligible for applying for post graduation work permit

Hi,

For your 2nd question, I had the same problm (but after some readings I would they that everyone has it ..), as the post-diploma is an open permit (CIC states it there : www cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2010/ob194.asp ), I wrote "to determine" so i can valid the form. Later, I wrote an explanation letter (which you can upload on my cic) and i explained why i wrote that and quote the previous link.

But now I am not able to upload the IMM5710 form on my cic, it says its the wrong pdf format, any chance you have been to do that ?

1. the red one is your document number.
2. Write N/A.

The document number should be the number at top right starting with 1 letter and 9 digits. Not the red number
