Hello I am having tough time reducing size of my passport file. I combined all pages including the blank pages since i have a completely new passport number of blank pages are a lot and reducing the size is making the scan look blurred. Any suggestions?
Thats what i used still the quality is poor once i compress. Does the passport pages need to be in order? Can I organize the passport with important information, visa, stamps, markings together and all the blank pages together? That way the blank pages can be in poor quality and the important pages can be clear, what do you think?
I think i'm not sure why you're uploading blank pages in the first place.
I read from this forum from earlier thread stating to upload the entire passport including blank pages

Only scan the pages with stamps. I had a lot of stamps and ended up with a 47 page PDF document, I compressed it with smallpdf.com and it was fine

Try different compression/merging software as the results can vary a lot.
I've put my file through many applications and got the best results with PDFSam Basic. I had 3 full passports merged without a noticeable decrease in quality and a file size of just around 3 MB.
Then again, as the others said you don't really need the blanks. Up to you with what you feel comfortable with.
