My Fiancee came on a Study Permit couple years ago. Then she got her work permit after studying for a year. Her Work permit is expiring end of March. I am a permanent Canadian Citizen already (was born Here). We want to get married as soon as possible. We recently just got our marriage license. We were told we can't apply for certificate till end of April, but by then her work permit will expire. Without her having to go back to her home country, Is it possible to get any sort of extension while waiting for marriage certificate? Maybe enroll in another School program? Or is it too late?
Thanks

She should apply to change her status to visitor before her work permit expires. She will need to stop working as soon as her work permit expires but will be able to remain in Canada as a visitor.
