Hi all,
Thank you for this wonderful platform where we can discuss and get our doubts get cleared.
I have a few questions I hope one of you experienced person can clarify it.
I am married, but my individual score is about 10 points more than if I select 'will travel along with spouse'. I understand that I can select the option of travelling without spouse and then once I land in Canada, I can then sponsor my spouse but this might take upto 15 months, can someone please clarify this?

But if I select 'will travel with spouse' can I still travel alone to Canada, get settled in a few months and the ask my spouse to join me? Does the spouse also get the PR along with the primary applicant Or do I have to sponsor her and then again wait for 15 months? Is it mandatory for spouse to accompany the primary applicant?

I really hope to receives some feedback soon.. Thanks again

If you list your spouse as non-accompanying to get more points, then you will need to sponsor your spouse for permanent residency once you have obtained your PR status. To sponsor your spouse for PR, you must be living in Canada and the process usually takes about a year. It's quite likely that your spouse will not be granted a tourist visa to visit you in Canada while the application is being processed. So if you list your spouse as non-accompanying, you should be prepared to live separately for the better part of a year while you wait for the spousal PR application to be processed.

If you select the "accompanying" option, meaning your spouse is coming with you, then both you and your sposue will get PR at the same time.
