***fee refund for ineligible cases***

My case was ineligible for processing and i was informed in Feb 2012 for the fee refund in a letter but 5 months have been past and i have not received any cheque.
Is there any procedure to be performed by me for fee refund? or they will send by their own?
is anyone facing same situation and any idea when its expected to be done?

sorry to hear about that. they will send a cheque that will reach your home in 1-2 months. you don't have to do anything. documents being returned will be with it hopefully.

I have received all my documents back with refusal letter.

if they didn't return the draft, we must remind to the CIO regarding the matter. I have seen many people that the CIO has returned draft after following up many times.

please confirm.

only original documents were returned by LVO with a letter not with cheque.
In that letter they told me that i will receive my fee with 4 to 12 weeks.

Yes, Marry83, u r right but it has already past that time frame. In such cases, we must contact to the CIO again and again.
