Fedex was bringing our passports from Brazil visa office to USA with our permanent visas and COPRs ( me, my husband and son)when was stopped by the customs.
2 months later the custums decided that we should get our passports in person, not a problem,

but they gave the COPRs and our sons passport back to FEDEX that ended lost then. :(

Did anybody ever got a replacement of the COPR?

What should we do?

Did anybody ever got a replacement of permanent visa?

Sorry that you had to go through such an ordeal. I think you could consider the following:

1. Launch a complaint with FedEX about the missing documents. Normally, they should have returned the package(s) to the sender. Do you have the tracking #s of the packages?

2. Send a letter to the visa office that issued the documents by registered mail - explain what happened, ask for guidance, and ask if they would please re-issue the documents.

It is very important that all of you "land" before the expiry date on your PR visas otherwise, you have to start the process from scratch.
