FBI Police Clearance without SSN

I am working in US on H1-B visa . My wife is on H-4 visa. H-4 visa holders don't have SSN numbers. But in the form they have a field for *Last Four Digits of Social Security Number:". Can I leave this field empty for my wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know the action you have taken in this regard because I have the same issue; my wife doesn't have an SSN, as she is on a non-working VISA (F2). Did you leave blank for SSN while you fill up your wife's application? what else should I need to know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You don't need SSN to get FBI IDHS. Just leave it empty, or write "N/A".
