Hello Members,

I left US permanently on 27th Sept 2015. Before leaving I mailed mine and my spouse FBI pcc request. I mailed it on 22 Sept and think they might have received it on 28 or 29.
I mailed both applications together in separate envelopes.
Recently $18 was deducted from my credit card on 19 Jan.
But only one got deducted.

I had previously also applied for FBI clearance and had received it in August(why is a different story), at that time also mailed the same way but my FBI charges were deducted for both of us at the same time.

At present I don't know about the second application. I tried calling FBI and they only told me that my wife application process has started. But did not give any information on my application. I am worried that why my application was not processed at the same time.

Is it possible, already two days have passed. Is there any other way to contact FBI or get information. I don't have time to apply again as I received ITA on 18 Dec and 18 Feb is that last day to submit my application.

Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards,
Omsaiom

Unfortunately, until your CC us charged there is no other way to find if your packet has been processed. Once the CC is charged, you can call FBI CJIS and they are pretty good in letting your know by when your PCC will arrive.

Don't stress too much. If in case you don't get your FBI PCC before the submission date, just add a letter of explanation. In the letter mention that the FBI has received your request and any poistal receipts you have. I applied without the FBI PCC and they accepted my application. A month later they requested for the FBI PCC and gave me 60 days to provide one.
