Hi,

Does any one know if the fingerprinting has to be done through local police station only? Will FBI accept fingerprints done through some private service? I went to the local police station and I feel the quality of the prints is not that great.

Has anyone done the finger prints through some private company? (I know CIC will not accept certificates issued by private channeler, I am just asking if I can get the fingerprints done through private service who may do it more professionally)

That's y you can take multiple prints and send them with your application to FBI ( just in case one is not accepted )

yes, FBI accept fingerprints done through some private service. I got the fingerprinting done through a local notary office, sent to FBI and got the PCC.

If you applied for fingerprints after getting the ITA, you're not likely to get them before the deadline.
