Hi, I got to know that FBI Clearance / Police certificate is valid for 12 months but is there a requirement not to leave the country or should get new one before submitting to the IRCC ?

For IRCC purposes, if you obtain the FBI Police certificate while being in the US, it will be valid for 6 month only from the issue date whether you leave the country after that or not. Good Luck!
