I filed from INDIA in 2004, currently in USA. Got call from CHC new delhi to submit my docs.
I need to take NJ Sate police clearance certificate and FBI clearance certificate.
NJ police department says i need to contact a private agency (www.bioapplicant.com/newjersey) to get finger printing for state certificate, they fwded me http://njsp.org/about/serv_chrc.html#icbc for procedure. Is that correct , could you share your knowledge ?
For FBI clearance I got info from http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm which says to download http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/ident.pdf for finger printing. But where should I go for this finger printing, I heard there is special card on which I need to take my finger printing and send to FBI than what is this form. Please explain.

If you are in USA, you need both State & FBI certificate.. please refer www.cic.gc.ca
For FBI go to your nearest police station and mention FBI - No Crimincal Record for Canda Immigration. They have a specific form and will take your finger print on that. You need to send this form to FBI centre in WA.
For state PCC, you need to take finger print either at nearest law enforecement office / private authorized finger print agency.

• Original police certificates of good conduct or clearances, from each country/
state/territory in which you and everyone in your family aged 18 years or over
have lived since reaching the age of 18.
• Submit original fingerprints directly to the authorities conducting the police
checks
• If you have obtained police certificates from countries where the authorities will
forward results directly to us, attach a brief explanatory note to your application.
