I already asked this in another section of the forums, but I am hoping it might reach other people in this section.

I recently got my FBI background check back and it's 100% clean, however I do have a DUI that was dismissed through a deferred adjudication. I am just wondering if this will effect my PR application? I do have have any sort of convictions whatsoever.

I have also talked to a lawyer who said it won't be a problem, I would just like to hear some more opinions!
