FBI Channeler pdf copy?

All the fbi channelers provide the option to get the certificate as a pdf download. Can I submit this for my PR application or is it mandatory to get a paper copy and then scan it?

My FBI Report mails a hard copy. I don't think it matters either way.

If you meet the criteria to use a channeler, you can upload the color PDF they give you. CIC will accept it.

I am not a US citizen/ permanent resident but the channeler processed my application and I have a pdf copy. They are supposed to send me a hard copy as well.

The reason I was asking was because the scan of hard copy will show the watermarkings which will be missing from the pdf.

Then per CIC's rules your PCC is not acceptable, not to mention the channeler is violating FBI rules. That's a huge risk for you to take. If they catch on to the fact you obtained it through non-approved means, you risk being banned from Canada.
