Family + Visitor Visa

Hello All

i had applied for my wife on sponser family visa after our marriage, i am in canada and she is in india. sponsership got approved.

Just want to know can i also apply for her on visitor visa? can we do that?

you can apply for a visitor visa for your wife, but it's quite likely to be denied. CIC in general doesn't grant visitor visa to spouses, because they are afraid that your spouse won't leave the country at the expiry date, and overstay.
However, you can always try and if she gets denied, it won't have any bearing on your application. Try and include as many proofs as possible that she will be returning to India after her visit to Canada.
