Family Sponsorship -Spouse and Dependent Child in Canada

Hello can somebody help me with the path to follow? I';ve applied for Family sponsorship for my wife and two kids inside Canada. OWP was already issued to my wife. Since our kids are under Visitor Visa, and 6 months of they stay have already been reached do I need to apply for a Visa Status Restoration for them? Or the fact that they are waiting/under the Family sponsorship exempt them? Again I am PR and my wife has a valid OWP. Thank you for your support.

You need to apply to extend their stay in Canada to keep their status in Canada legal. If their six month stay has already completed, then yes - you need to apply for restoration.

No - they are not exempt due to the family sponsorship application and OWP.
