Family member sponsorship

Hi everyone, I have submitted a family class sponsorship application outside Canada (Peru) on April 2014. My husband who is a Canadian citizen got approved as a sponsor on June 2014, so far I have 3 updates on my ecase. Does anyone have an idea how long more do we have to wait for the process to finish? I have submitted my medical exam with the whole package and also paid all the fees for the process

These are the 3 application status updates :
1.-We received your application for permanent residence on May 1, 2014.

2.- We started processing your application on September 18, 2014.

3.-Medical results have been received.

I also submitted a Canadian passport application for my baby daughter in May, she already has her Canadian passport and we are just waiting on my PR application to be approved ( hopefully)

Hi

You state that you submitted your app in April 2013 and your sponsor was approved June 2013 but your ECAS shows the app as received in May 2014.

Please clarify.

Ohh sorry didn't realize my mistake, correct dates are 2014

I submitted the application in April 2014, and my sponsor was approved in June 2014

That's what I thought. No one can really tell you how long it will take. Lima is currently showing a posted processing time of 11 months to process 80% of apps; the actual average time is about 7 months. This count started when Lima received your app, usually a few weeks after sponsor approval. If your app follows the average trend, you should hear back in early 2015.
