I am a dual US-Canadian citizen, with my Canadian citizenship by descent. I live in the US with my husband and our 16 year old son, who I plan to sponsor under the Outland Family Class. I have gathered all our documents and we are preparing to apply.
However, I seem to have hit a snag, and am confused. We adopted our son at birth, but it looks like I have to fill out a different application to sponsor him? And cannot do so from the US?
Is anyone able to confirm this is the case?
My husband and I are the ones listed on his birth certificate, if that matters.
