My husband is a resident of Canada.. we got married in jan 2012. He applied for my Spouse visa in July 2012. Application got approved in october 2012..and CHC took my Passport in Nov 2012. from tht time my status says IN PROCESS. Its been almost 16 months since i applied for my visa but no response from them. is there any way to know what happned to my file? pls help..

Marriage can be same day as application (in theory)
Common-law couples need to have been living together for 1 year
Not sure what the 2 year requirement is that you speak of...

yeah if it is like that by jan 2014 it will be 2 years after my marriage.. and it is love cum arranged marriage.. we were in livin relationship for 3 months in london before our marriage..
is it like i have to wait for another couple of months?
