I am a Canadian Citizen. My husband is from Nicaragua and currently lives there. I want to Sponsor him so that he can become a PR of Canada. According to https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...l-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html I am not considered to be living abroad with my husband because I am here on Tourist Visa. (I have been in Nicaragua since a little before we got married, and have left once to visit my family for 1 month and a half). This means I need to apply under the Family Class.

your dependent children
Sponsoring if you live outside Canada

spouse,
common-law partner,
conjugal partner,
dependent child who has no children of his or her own.

Okay thanks! Should I be following the IMM 5533 Document Checklist or the IMM 5491 Document Checklist? I just need to know which to submit with my application package. Thanks!
