Hi there,
I'm getting ready to sponsor my wife for PR and I have a question.
We met 2 years ago and have been living together outside Canada (in her home country) for over a year now.
We also got married 2 months ago and we have a baby coming in about 4 months (July 2019).
Since I am a Canadian citizen, I assume it won't be a problem for my child to become a Canadian Citizen.
My questions is, should I wait for our child to be born in order to sponsor my spouse for PR or should we send her PR application before the child is born ?
Let's assume I sponsor her for PR before the child is born, will I be able to sponsor my child to become a Canadian citizen while her application is still processing ?
I would appreciate clarification on this matter and what you all think ? I will be glad to hear some feedback from people that were in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance !
