Family Class Sponsor/No Job?

Hi,
I haven't read through all topics so if i am repeating something that has been answered can you please post the link?

A little info first:

I am a Canadian Citizen. I was born in The Bahamas and have been here for 28 years. I am a citizen through my mother who is a born Canadian citizen and applied for my citizenship at birth.

I am married to a Bahamian Citizen. We have been married for 5 years (together 10) and we have 3 young children.

I am a stay at home mom/homemaker and have been for the past 6 years.

My husband is a heavy machine operator, and has 7 years experience in this field.

Now my question:
We are ready to relocate to Canada. We are going to use the Family Class Sponsorship and I will be the sponsor (since I am the citizen).

1) Would being a Homemaker be a reason to deny my sponsorship application?

We will be living with a family member for the first few months or so. Hopefully with my husbands experience/certificates he will find a job quickly. But I don't make any money.

2)If we were to come to Canada and apply within Canada would he be able to apply for a job without having his PR status yet?

No. You do not need a job to sponsor a spouse - you just need a plan concerning how the two of you will support yourselves once in Canada.

This is fine. In your plan you can say that you will be living with a family member for a while, and that your husband will look for a job. Include an affidavit or letter from this family member offering to support you, and copies of your husband`s certificates and proof of his experience.

If you apply inland (which means he has to be in Canada and stay in Canada the whole time it takes to process the application) then he can apply for a work permit too. It will take about 6 to 8 months to get it. If he applies outland (he can be in the Bahamas at that time, or he can be in Canada visiting), then he cannot work until he gets his PR. He can also look for an employer who would be willing to sponsor him for a work permit - he would need a LMO from this employer; they are usually hard to get, but with his type of experience it may be easier.
