Question: Form IMM 5540 (SPONSOR QUESTIONNAIRE) 8. Have you resided in countries other than Canada? Resided mean resident? If someone has been visiting different countries in different times, should he/she mention those visits in the answer or this question just relates to permanent residence? I shall be very grateful if somebody help me in this regard. Thanks
To reside means to actually live somewhere, whether as a permanent or temporary resident. Visiting different countries as a tourist or visiting family and the like doesn't mean residing in those countries.
So list only those countries where the person actually moved to in order to live there. Not visits and normal travels.
