Extension Visitor visa and Work Permit inside Canada through Atlantic Immigration Program

I applied for an Extension Visitor visa last December 1, 2023, inside Canada and now I am applying for my Permanent Resident. I still got no responses for my Visitor visa. Do I still need to re-apply for an extension visa to gain my PR? And Even the Work Permit they said is still in process but it's already 6 months now. Can somebody relate to my situation? I called IRCC or even wrote a web form to them but every time they say it's processing not even an update.
