Hi. My parents are here on Supervisa. My mother came an year earlier than my father. My mother was granted 2 years to stay and her stay is valid till 19 Apr 2020. I wanted to apply for extension of her stay since we are expecting(our first born) in July. I wanted my mother to be here for when the kid is born to help with my wife.
Now my question is that is it fine to apply for stay extension and mentioning that in application for extension of stay!

You can certainly try. At a certain point extensions are usually refused so would be prepared that you parents will likely have to return and should reestablish ties before returning to Canada if that is their plan. Extensions are pretty regularly issues after 2 years.
