Hi does anybody here know what I can do about my extension of stay? - my husband has a working permit that expires on year 2017,he sponsored me so I got a temporary visa/ visitors visa which expires on 4/12/2016 but i was notified that i can stay here for 6 mos. (until dec.18.2015) having known this we applied online(september) on CIc for an extension which is i think 114 days processing. We havent recieved any result yet. - can i stay here in canada and wait for the result? What if theres no result yet from CIC by the time my stay should end?- and what are the odds of approval from CiC if i have only until april 12 2016 till my visa expires? :-[ :-[
 
Yes - you can stay in Canada legally until a decision is made regarding your extension application.
