Extending Study Visa and Worker Visa

Hi I am Siva doing my studies in Canada and my wife who came to Canada as a dependent with working Visa. We recently renewed the study permit for me and work permit for my wife. We have to extend our Visas now which got expired few days back. We have a plan to visit India and come back again to Canada. We are more confused how to extend the both the Visas.

1. Is there any application were we both can apply and renew the Visas together?
2. What kind of Visa do we have to extend? Some people say that we both have to extend TRV?
3. What documents we have to submit for extending the study visa and for working visa?
4. Do we have to show any bank statements and how much do we have to show?

Can anyone please guide us !! I am more confused and we have to apply for the Visas..

1. Both applications in the same package.
2. You need to apply for TRVs (Temporary Resident Visas) to re-enter Canada.
3. Read the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp The application goes to CPP-Ottawa, processing time about 30 days.
