Hello. I'm currently in the process of applying for an extension to my study permit. I've also been living with my partner for just over a year now in Canada. We both applied and came to Canada separately and didn't have a common-law relationship before coming to Canada. Now as I'm filling forms to apply for a study permit extension since we are considered common-law, I'm declaring my martial status as such. My question is do I need to provide proof for cohabitation and relationship at this point? I'm applying only for an extension for myself and this is not a PR application so I'm a bit confused.
