I attend a private school in Ontario. I have a valid study and entry visa until July 15th, 2020. I plan on returning to school in mid-August for the 2020-21 year.
I was on an international school trip when the Canadian borders closed and so flew home to Brazil, where I am now. I am now starting to apply to extend my permit so that I can continue studying for the next school year. But the permit extension form forces you to say that you are currently residing in Canada, which I am not.
So I am wondering what I am supposed to do going forward:
1) Apply to extend my study permit with the address of my school in Canada, which is where I stay while I am there. Then apply for a new visit visa to let me re-enter the country.
2) Apply for a new study permit altogether.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
