Extend Study Permit

HELLO,
I'm here student in the Postgraduate program, My study permit will be expired within 3 months (due to the expiration of my passport). I renewed my passport, my question is when I should apply for a study permit extension? and Should I apply for my spouse (who is has a work permit expiry date)?
And is it a complicated process or easy?

You should apply to extend right away since processing times are mant months. You will be on implied status amd cwn continue studying if your permit expires and you've applied for an extension. When does your husband's OWP expire snd ehen do your studies expire?
