My husband is on his work permit which will be over in Jan'2019. I'm currently residing and working in INDIA. We want to get PR through Express entry (my husband will be primary applicant). My husband had studied in Toronto and currently working there as an recruiting consultant. We are trying to make a profile but the crs scores are not good enough as moderate marks in language test and neither of us have any master degree. I'm open to suggestion. What should we do? Should I get my student Visa and apply him as a dependent so that he can get a work permit and get some extra time or what other ways we can follow?
The best way is to re-take the English tests and target to get CLB-9 in all four sections of the test. This would surely boost up your joint-CRS. You could also contribute to your joint-CRS by scoring high on your English test. Even if your spouse's PGWP expires on January 2019, you can still apply from India through FSW or CEC streams.
