Express Entry Work Experience

Hello!
I came to Canada as an international student and during my studies, I gained a full 1-year paid internship experience on a COOP work permit.
It wasn't part of my studies and during that time i was a part-time student.
After my internship, i graduated with a 3-year degree option.
Now i have graduated and had a PGWP.
Does my internship experience count towards the Express Entry work experience requirement?
I would appreciate all your answers.
