Express Entry with Arrest dismissed and Expunged

Hello Guys,

I got an invite in the pool for Express Entry .
i'm in a big ambiguity what to answer to the below questions

Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?:
i have Arrest record for 2 misdeameanor charges breach of peace and reckless endangerment . it was a bar fight trying to defend myself i threw a glass and somebody else got injured. the case was dismissed and expunged. FBI background says no criminal history. (fingerprints Erased as well)
has anyone ever faced this scenario ? what should i answer

Have you been detained, incarcerated, or put in jail? (required)
i was held for couple of hours before i got the bail
what should i answer ?

You have to answer Yes to both. You can then explain the circumstances and provide the documents that prove the case was dismissed and youur record expunged. A dismissed charge is not a bar to PR.

If you say No, you have a very good chance of being banned for five years.

Hello Vam12pi can you tell me what did you end up doing? I am in exact same situation. Mine misdemeanor charges also dismissed and expunged. FBI is clean and state records are clean. I am on work permit here in Canada. Should I say yes or no?
