My spouse will be applying for express entry, and I will be the dependent.
I plan to study in Canada using a study permit.
Will there be any conflicts between the applications if I am in Canada studying before spouse’s express entry.
I would like to know if;
the dependent will be affected in regards when main applicant is selected for express entry, as dependent is already in Canada
(the clause state that dependent have to land after arrival of primary applicant)
Thank you very much,
Appreciate for your time and patience
Your bigger issue may be getting the study permit while have an EE application. You have to show that you are planing on returning to your home country to get a study permit. Your EE contradicts that.
I am aware the EE contradict my application for study permit, except will it affect my application for study permit if my spouse is the main applicant and I am the dependent for EE.
I had an idea but I am uncertain of its possibility;
Is it possible if I apply for study permit first and then shortly after landing in Canada, apply for EE.
Thank you very much,
Looking forward to your response

Don’t know your whole situation but yes your chances of getting a study permit will be better if you haven’t applied for PR yet. Not sure if your study permit application is strong to start off with. Yes you can apply for EE once you have been approved for a study permit. Even if you are a dependent on a PR application you are still showing your intent to move to Canada permanently.
