I had attend my IELTS with my old passport and received my results as well. But the issue is my passport is about to expire around year hence planning to renew it before I apply for Express Entry. Would this create an issue as my IELTS result would reflect my old passport number provided I renew it..??

My passport is valid for another 18months. What would you advise..?? Shall I apply with my current passport or should I renew it..??
It's totally possible that you will receive your PR in the next 12 months (stamping requires passport to have atleast 6 month validity) But if you choose to go that way I'd advice you to hurry and make sure you have your AOR in the next 2-3 months or so.
