Express Entry - Foreign Work Experience

Hello,

I just applied for my Express Entry application along with my wife as a dependant applicant. Together, based on several different criterias, the system is showing my total as 490 points.

I am a little surprised as to why is the system offering me 50 points for my Foreign Work Experience. I was assuming that I will only get 26 points as I worked for a Part Time job during April 2013 - July 2017 (24 hours/week (4 hours per day * 6 working days in India) while studying fulltime bachelors and masters).

If I try putting 20 hours/week then it brings me down to 466 points but if I keep it as 24 hours/week then it turns out to be 490 points.

Please let me know the calculation the system is making. I am happy as well as confused if I am actually eligible for the 490 score?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for your revert. I was actually wondering that how does it differ the score between 20hrs/week and 24hrs/week. That’s my confusion.

Technically both of them fall under 30 hours/week which means I worked part time.
