Submitted my Express Entry Application on 5th May 2017. Got message from CIC on 23rd June 2017 that the application is being cancelled as Police Clearance Certificate is not acceptable.

Have got this message

"The Police certificate from India that you provided with your application is not acceptable as it does not cover the full period of time spent in India. You have indicated in your address/personal history that you resided in India from OCT2000 to MAY2017. The police certificate issued only covers one address that you resided in for only one month. A police certificate should cover your whole time in a country from the age of 18 until present."

1. Does it imply that I need to take PCC from seven different states I resided over the last 18 years?

2. If No, is there a way I can get an acceptable PCC from a single place?

My present address is in Delhi but my Permanent Address is in Patiala. Hence, I got the PCC done from SSP office, Patiala.
The PCC was taken from Patiala District SSP office. My passport also mentions address to be Patiala only.

Request help on how to tackle the PCC.

You should have got a PCC from the passport sea kendra, it does not have dates and is valid pan India. Go to your nearest PSK and get a PCC and re-file your application.

Thanks. Now if my doubt is regarding the PSK from where I should get it done.

Should I get it done from Delhi where I have been living for last 2.5 years and have mentioned that in my PR application.

Or PSK Chandigarh, where my passport has been issued but my stay at Patiala Address is only 1 month as mentioned in PR application.

Ideally get it done from Psk location which is as per your passport address as it will be easier. You will need to show 2 address proof. If you have already been police verified you will get pcc in 2 days or else you will get police verification appointment for within 7 days and post verification you can get pcc in 2 days.

Good luck

If the police verification is already done for the passport you are holding , the PCC will be given to you the same day.

Not all PSKs give the pcc the same day. Most do. But 2 days is a fair period during which they give the pcc, of course subject to the fact that physical police verification is complete.

Hi, I got PCC from Passport office and then made a fresh application on 5th July. Then got intimation for PR Fee payment on 18th August. So, i assume that has been accepted by CIC.

What is the process to get PCC from India? Is there a way to start process from PSK online?

Hi. Is it possible to apply again once your application is cancelled by using same EE profile? Or have to make a new profile and then wait for an ITA, after receiving it submit application again? Kindly guide. Thanks.
