Actually i got invitation on 9 april 2020 for express entry . And my work permit got expired on 26 april 2020 . On 1 may 2020 i got approval for my extension of work permit but i didn’t received the original document yet. I submitted my express entry application on 30 MAY 2020 with my approval letter of work permit my medical has been passed . But still i didn’t get my original document . I have contacted to IRCC about that . They just forwarded my request . My question is that they will require my original document or will be ok with approval letter .

They will not ask for any specific doc. They simply take decision on submitted docs and there are cases where it was rejected for lack of docs..
So in my opinion yes it is best you to produce.. You can always give an LOE and then raise webform to upload latest WP if you are not able to obtain all docs in 90 days..
