Expired visa

Hi i have a question.it’s regarding my mom’s visa. So we applied her supervisa extension last yr before we went to the phils for a vacay. But when we were at the airport they didn’t let my mom to go back because they said her visa(the one that was stamped in her passport) is already expired. We didn’t know that her visa in her passport has expiration we thought that only the visa extension is important. And so with a heavy heart she was left in manila. Now last week the decision on her supervisa extension was approved for 1 yr. And yes we are working on reapplying her visa again (the one in the passport) my question is this, is it possible that we could get a temporary travel document so she could get back to canada while were applying for her visa again? Her visa extension is approved anyways. Someone could help me pls. Thank u.

Her extension reques up is useless because she left Canada when she was on implied status. She will have to reapply for the supervisa. Your mother should still have a home in Manila because she is only a visitor in Canada so she should be able to remain in the Philippines without a problem. No there is no special expedited process for her to come back to Canada.
