I just want to know if anybody has similar case as ours? Or much better, senior forum mates, please if you have any idea..what can we do now that our visas are already expired since Feb. but our passports have been already sent to the Canadian Embassy-Manila the time they sent PPR in July.
Could this be a sign of refusal or what? Its been 8 months since we've submitted our PP's and we have borrowed them last November, then returned after a month. Now, we really need to borrow them again...but no news whatsoever so far, and the Embassy hasn't replied to our querry yet.
What could be the possible explanation of our situation?
Hi, its very sad that they have kept u on hold with the fact that ur PPTs have expired?? Gosh!!! U can mail them as well as fax explaining the matter and asking to return the PPTs so as to renew and send them back, that the only way, u shd not wait for them to come back to u..

It is definitely not a rejection. You have withdrawn your passport from the Embassy before finalizing their work. The delay has occurred because of there is an interruption from your side. You can send a case specific inquiry to know the status of your case.
ow it is possible that there is a Canadian visa for you when you submitted passports in July 2012, and the passports re still in the visa office custody???. Do you mean the medical expiry?.

We did our medical Feb. 2012, and according to the PPR letter from the embassy, the visas will expire on Feb. 2013 (1 year after medicals are done- that's the expiration of visa validity, right?)...
Technically, the visas and our Medical results were all expired last Feb.
The embassy requested for our passports last July 2012 for visa stamping, then they sent another email after some days, requiring for additional documnets about our POF.Until then, no updates yet. Since July 2012, our passports are in the custody of embassy...more than 8 months ago already....we're planning to borrow those to have our summer vacation trip somewhere...still no response form the embassy.,
You cannot consider your visa is expired. The medical has been expired but, at this stage, the visa office could extend the validity of your medical. You should contact the embassy stating your problems once the passports are in their custody for a long period. Hope you would get a favorable answer at the earliest. Send the message through Case specific inquiry. I don't recommend for asking your passports back now.

We have sent them 3 messages and the reply is the same "queued for review"....but our agent is making all the necessary follow-ups because we told him we need our passports back as we are scheduled to have our annual trip for vacation....then my husband's scheduled for a training somewhere in EU...
