Hi Everyone,
I have sponsored my parents ( and brother which is in their file) 3 years ago, and after long wait, I have got an email (June 9th, 2017) from Anakara immigration that our file has approved and my parents and brother need to send their passport to issue their visa - they gave us 30 days for sending passports.
we have got the passport with Visa issued today ( July 2nd), but all of the visa were expired on June 29th, 2017!! Date of issue for the Visas were Feb 29th , 2017 , but we just got the notification to send passport on June 9th.
Just wondering if anyone has seen or experience similar situation and what we need to do? clearly we followed and were on time with all their request , but not sure why this happened.
any help/advice is highly appreciated.

Hi
This has happened before. Send an urgent CSE to the VO. You should also ask your MP to inquire in case IRCC takes awhile to respond.
They will have to return their documents to be re-issued with new expiry dates.
See even the issue date is a non existant date as last Feb 29 was in 2016 and next one is in 2020 !

Thank you for your prompt response. One thing I thought might have happened is they put the expiry date to June 29th, which is one year from when they sent their medical, but it was not our fault that they sent us an email notification late! do you think my parent and brother need to do a medicals again? Hope not, because that will takes months and cost so much again.
also, sorry to ask but what does MP , and CSE stands for?
Please advise

that was my typo, the issue date was Feb 28th.
Thank you, that helps and will do that asap.
I am also wondering if my parents and brother need to the medicals again or they just re issue the visa because it was their fault notifying us late?

Now that I'm not sure about. You could definitely argue your case, but I suspect they might have to retake the medicals eventually.

IRCC will most likely just extend their medicals for another year.
