Hi, I am very concerned about my situation. I live in Canada for 3 years. My temporary resident visa (TRV) expired last month. However, my work permit is valid til Dec.2011. Can I renew my Work Permit with an expired TRV? Do I need to leave Canada to renew my TRV?
Thanks,
Dan

1. Yes.
2. No, you could apply to one of the Canadian offices in the US by mail. The instructions for Buffalo are here : http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/visas/trv-apply_demande-vrt.aspx?view=d
