expired LMO

my LMO was expired and i am still in my home country, i already secured my working permit.

my querries are:

1. do i need to secure an LMO extension?
2. can I enter canada as a forein worker even my LMO is expired?
3 or just to secure a letter of confirmation from my employer attesting that they still interested of hiring me in liue of my expired LMO to enter canada.

any inputs are very much welcome.
