Hello everyone.

I am from South Africa. I studied in India for 2 years from 2015 - 2017. In 2018 I got an Indian police clearance certificate. I worked in South Korea for one year from 2019-2020. I have a Korean police clearance certificate.

Now when applying for Canada Immigration, once I receive an ITA, I understand I have to give all police clearance certificates from my home country (South Africa) and from any other countries in which I stayed in for a period of 1 year or more (Korea and India).

My question is the South African police clearance certificate is valid for 6 months, but will my Korean and Indian police clearance certificates also have an expiration date? Even though I am not a citizen of Korea or India?

For example, my Indian police clearance certificate is now 2 years old. Will I still be able to use it?

If you have not entered India/Korea after getting the certificates, you will be able to use them. The certificates need to be dated before your last visit.
