I am going to canada on a student visa
My flight is on 4 sep
Delhi to montreal to ottawa
My question is do I have to undergo through immigration process in montreal or in my final destination Toronto?
How much time it will take?
If it is in montreal , in case i miss my flight if immigration took alot of time, how to handle such situation?
Wat are the documents I need to show to immigration officers??

Your immigration would take place at the Port of Entry (POE) i.e. Montreal. It usually takes an hour or two depending on the queue. In case you miss your connecting flight, you and try and request the airlines to put you in the next flight, however there is no guarantee that they will oblige. Keep your passport, letter of acceptance, proof of funds (GIC plus cash, travel card), address where you will be living etc. ready. The immigration officer will ask you a few general questions and then issue you the student permit. Cheers!
