I have a question about visitors. my friend is from a visa exempt country. She came to visit Canada and decided to stay longer but ( she wants to go back) she just want to extend her stay here just to visit a little longer what she was anticipated for. But in the meantime we have to travel to Houston Texas for a week. My question is: is she going to be fine to come back or it is going to be an issue for her. she doesn't have a stamp in her passport (when she needs to leave) so she can stay for 6 month no problem, we know that.
Does the friend have a return ticket to home country ? A question that will also likely be asked by US immigration as well as CBSA on returning to Canada. Assume also friend has either a US visa or an ESTA ? Should be no issue if answer is yes to these questions but expect to maybe be asked how long staying in Canada again despite having a ticket to exit at a later date.
