Second that. Just read the instructions yourself. They are so straight forward. You can also ask any questions you have here.
If you hire a lawyer then you have to depend on him/her for every steps. This actually doubles the stress! There were people here who were waiting for Medical request, while the CIC email was waiting in their lawyers mailbox/junk for over a week and not forwarded to them. Basically lawyer just fills out the forms for you and forwards CIC emails to you...
It's 100% your choice as to whether you use a representative. There are number of people on here who did and a number who didn't- there is no right or wrong answer.
Anyway - to get back to your original question.......
I used Bomza Law Group in Toronto. They were timely, responsive and I would recommend them.
I messed up with my visa application last time... I applied for visa extension last year but By mistake I entered in date of marriage registration instead of marriage date.....
And I messed up with date of birth of my parents. I got my visa extension without any issue but now I am wondering they can found mismatch information. So I do not how to explain to CIC about.

If you already have made a mistake, please hire an attorney.
Law firm of Campbell Cohen is handling my case.
They are a bit expensive but are in good standing with CIC and very professional.
My case was filed in 2010, the process was different and they usually charge by "per stage clearance". I'm really not sure how much they will ask for now. If you need any specific contact details, please PM me.
