Got CORP and passport back from CPC-O, was quite excited and went to Rainbow bridge yesterday planned for a flag pole landing, everything went smooth until i got all i need at Canadian border, agent told me the system was down they couldn't process my landing procedure. Waited there over 6 hours and it didnt recover, it seemed it was a national wide issue. Just wondering is there anyone plans to go through landing process for the following days this week? Please kindly share ur experience. I have to go back again and according to border agents there isnt any way to confirm with them whether the system is ok before i go.........

It was such a pain, took me 3 hours to get to the border and it didnt work out. Border agent kept telling me "it's recommended to make appointment with CIC for inland landing" so i called cic agent, the women on the phone was very nice and honest she told me it takes over two weeks to make an appointment with CIC office ( which is around Xmas)and there is no guarantee the system wont have issues.....
Yep, they've been having issues for months, actually years. YEARS ago we went to the border for a work permit and the system was down. Had to stay in a hotel for a night.
Back in July the CBSA agent said they had a new computer system. Which to make a long story short, caused an almost 4 month wait for a PR card due to it messing up.

Oh dear.....thought all hassle was gone when i got CORP, now i see what a naive thought that was.....i gonna try rainbow bridge again tmw. Hopefully this second trip will work out for me......have my finger crossed.....
