Exit permit in India after acquiring a foreign passport

Has anyone applied for exit permit (at the respective FRRO) in India after acquiring Canadian passport in India?

I emailed the Indian immigration support department and asked if I can fly out of India on my Canadian passport I acquired in India and all they replied was - "On receipt of foreign Passport, you may please apply online on https://www.indianfrro.gov.in for Exit Permit to the jurisdictional FRRO in whose area of jurisdiction you are residing presently. "

any luck? Did you get more information on exit permit? did you try getting an exit permit?

how did the exit permit work out.
my infant was denied boarding because of no exit permit.
my child was born in india, but got his canadian citizenship and canadian passport.

Hi, any updates ? I’m On same boat as you . Also what exactly is a permit ? Since my baby is Canadian now does she need a visa to come back to India ?
