Since I've just learned that I can send my app in without the FBI Clearance I'm now just about ready to go! I've got all my forms filled out, medicals done, letters written and just need to organize my evidence.
I'm really beating myself up over the amount that I have. I only have about 30ish pictures, neither my husband nor myself is really in to the camera. Since we have lived together since July we don't have many e-mails. We live in the Caribbean where its only feasible to have a prepaid phone, so no phone records. We do have a joint bank account and some plane tickets, and envelopes sent to the both of us and engagement and wedding cards. Neither of us are "wedding people" so we had a very small ceremony and BBQ but won't have an official party until July when the whole family can be together, so then we don't have any wedding journals or anything. I do have some old e-mails from his sister as we have been friends for the past 6 years, before my husband and i were even together. But really not much else!
Compared to what it seems a lot of you have put together I feel like I have nothing! We have an amazing, strong, nurturing and genuine relationship but why do I feel like I've done everything wrong!

Any letters of support from your mutual friends and family members?

And just write one kicka** relationship document. You should be fine, really. Lots of people need 5lbs of evidence (like we did) because we have potential red flags and had to address them preemptively (e.g. met online, married a short while after meeting in person).

So just go back over your package with a critical eye, and make sure the IO can address any questions they might have from what you have sent.

Thanks. I have had people offer to write letters, perhaps I should follow up on that!
I have a bachelor's in creative writing and my husband writes cooking columns from time to time, we are both pretty good with our words.
