Hi, I applied for an ETA on 17th Jan 2024. They requested a police certificate due to previous criminal record in Feb 2024 of which I uploaded promptly. According to entry criteria and crimes committed I am now allowed into Canada, so its a matter of getting the visa approved. However it has been over a year now, it still stays processing. Has anyone else waited this long for an approval? Should I try to reapply again? Does anyone suggest anyway of contacting the embassy (based in London,UK) as i cant find anything appropriate online?

Were you already deemed rehabilitated at the time you submitted the eTA or did you become deemed rehabilitated during the processing of your eTA?
